AutoMagic Labs (“AML,” “we,” “our”) operates the AutoMagic Labs platform at automagiclabs.ai. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our vehicle audit and merchandising intelligence services.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials through our identity provider, Clerk. We do not store passwords directly.

Contact Form Data

If you submit our partner contact form, we collect your name, email, company name, phone number, and message content.

Usage Data

We collect analytics data about how you use the platform, including pages visited, features used, and audit activity. This data is collected through Vercel Analytics and is used to improve the product.

4. Third-Party Services

Upstash — Rate limiting and caching
Sentry — Error monitoring

5. Cookies

We use cookies for authentication (managed by Clerk) and analytics (managed by Vercel). These cookies are essential for the operation of our services. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, strict Content Security Policy headers, and secure authentication through Clerk. All data is stored in SOC-2-compliant infrastructure provided by MongoDB Atlas and Vercel.

7. Data Retention

We retain different categories of data for different periods, summarized below:

VDP and Trim audit results	Indefinite while your account is active; 365 days after account deletion.
Temporary embedding job data	Automatically deleted 24 hours after job completion.
Monthly usage counters	Current period only; counters reset on the first of each month and prior values are not retained.
Contact form submissions	90 days from submission, then deleted.
Administrative audit log	1 year, then deleted.
Billing records	Not applicable. We do not currently process payments.

You may request earlier deletion of your account and any associated data at any time. See Section 8 for the request channel and our response window.

8. Your Rights and How to Exercise Them

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information; request a copy of your data; or ask us to stop processing it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at data@automagiclabs.ai. We respond to verified requests within 30 days. While our user base is small, requests are fulfilled manually; we may ask you to confirm your identity from the email address associated with your account.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our platform. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
